Eight Ways of Working with Energy
Absorption, allowing passage, mirroring, distortion, dilution, deflection, amplification and transformation in the author’s energy model.

In our world, we are exposed every day to different kinds of energy—positive and negative. Negative external influences can programme and weaken us, especially if we do not know how to handle them. This is why it is important to understand the different ways of working with energy and how they affect us.
The Eight Ways
- Absorption: the process of taking in the energy that surrounds us.
- Allowing passage: the ability to let energy pass through us without affecting us.
- Mirroring: reflecting energy back to its source.
- Distortion: changing the form or quality of energy.
- Dilution: reducing the intensity of energy.
- Deflection: changing the direction of energy so that it does not affect us.
- Amplification: increasing the intensity of energy.
- Transformation: changing energy from one kind into another.
Author’s interpretation: “energy” and the eight ways of working with it are concepts from the author’s spiritual model.
