Thinking, repeating and writing down positive beliefs, as well as consciously correcting the mind, is work with the mental level of our aura. Writing down an affirmation has the strongest effect, followed by saying it aloud, and finally thinking or repeating it mentally. By changing our thinking, we give life the freedom to unfold as we accept a new perspective.

In this way, we connect particular emotions with specific memories and the thought-based beliefs we hold on a given subject. A connection forms: Memory—Emotion—Judgement—Belief. When we change the root belief on a subject, we slowly begin to heal our emotions, which represent an instinctive reaction to a particular memory or to an issue in general. In this article, we will discuss changing the energetics of the Manipura and Anahata chakras. You can read the first part of the article here.

Manipura: The Third (Abdominal) Chakra

Main functions: Self-respect. Power. Thoughts and beliefs. Structuring intellect. Social belonging in the world. Understanding one’s own individuality. Establishing order in emotions through reason. Ego. A sense of belonging. Striving for good physical health. Will, strength and action to see things through. Self-confidence. Success. Control. Autonomy. Professional development. Developing individuality.

If our actions and thoughts are often driven by the motivation to gain social status, recognition or an accumulation of strength, authority and power, this means we have turned our third chakra into a sucking black hole that wants more and more dominance and ego-superiority. Or are we constantly on guard against being oppressed by authority figures? If we assess possible future situations from the perspective of whether we will be respected, whether we will know someone at the place we are going to, and whether we will have a voice or not. If we choose our actions according to whether we will receive recognition or praise afterwards. If we see life as a competition. If these themes frequently recur in our thoughts, this means there is an unresolved pattern in the third chakra that needs transformation.

Negative States and Beliefs

A strong sense of superiority over others or inferiority to others. Everywhere, we assess people and situations according to who is powerful and who is powerless. Excessive self-confidence. Shame over our actions and failures. Frequently intruding memories of failures. Achieving goals by manipulating others. Pride, complacency, extreme selfishness. Brash tyranny. A desire to control others. Only through power and dominance can I prove my significance.

Only in a position of authority can I assert myself and be heard. Doing everything possible to obtain an authoritarian position and oppress others. After failure, difficulty or disapproval from others, we feel shame and begin to lose faith in our own abilities. Holding back our inner impulses through a lack of faith in ourselves. Blaming others for our problems. Following the thought-based beliefs of the people around us without reflecting on them. We do not know what our mission here on Earth is.

Transforming Beliefs and Affirmations

Anahata: The Fourth (Heart) Chakra

Main functions: Love. Compassion. Empathy. Humanity. A sense of complete social inclusion. Seeing opportunities to give and receive love, and opportunities to help. Preserving memories of love, hatred and lost intimacy. Warmth. Care. Responsiveness to people in difficulty. Love for people. Tenderness. Forgiveness.

Transforming energy into unconditional love. A midpoint uniting mind and body. Balancing masculine and feminine energy, bringing them into equilibrium as humanity. Opening to the feelings and needs of others. Seeing beyond ourselves and our desires. Going beyond the ego. Understanding the interdependence of all things. A loving attitude in the social sphere.

If we are often tormented by questions: does true love exist? Is there love at first sight? If we divide people into warm-hearted or heartless, victims and rescuers. If we are in a period of seeking balance between Yin and Yang, solitude and closeness. And if we think over whether a particular area will involve an exchange of giving and receiving love, or reflect on one of the themes of the fourth chakra, this means we are currently developing it and are in the process of clearing its blockages.

Old wounds in this chakra may be so painful that we do not want to experience them again, but this is necessary if we want to become an expression of love ourselves. Clearing this chakra is connected with experiencing the blocked feelings. Affirmations will help us maintain our positive attitude and objective vision in these moments so that we can pass more smoothly through this stage.

Negative States and Beliefs

Fear of opening up and admitting our love to someone because we think they may reject us. Believing that love can exist only when a sexual act or some other kind of exchange takes place. As soon as we stop receiving from the other person, we turn our love into hatred and judgement. Being open only to giving or only to receiving love. Imbalance in giving and receiving. Difficulty realising that everything is One, and thinking only about our own person.

Inability to feel empathy towards others. Hardness. Closing the heart after a previous negative experience in love and relationships. Too many conditions for loving another person. Not believing in true love. Having negative thoughts towards humanity. A desire to destroy nature. Lack of trust in life. Lack of trust in people. I want to do whatever I please without taking anyone into account. A possessive attitude towards a partner instead of accepting them as an equal. Expressions of excessive concern.

  21. My body and mind are in sync.
